Melanotan I

Melanotan 1 (MT1), also known as afamelanotide, is a synthetic pep analog of the natural alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (a-MSH) that acts as a non-selective melanocortin receptor agonist. Developed to stimulate skin tanning and produce melanin, it acts as a photoprotective agent against UV radiation.
